Dr Paris MacGibbon is a registered osteopath, passionate about living and promoting a healthy lifestyle, and helping her patients strive towards feeling their best. With the strong belief in the body’s natural healing ability, Paris’ intention is to aid and encourage the body to function to the best of its ability.
Paris’ treatment approach combines her osteopathic skills with her previous experience as a remedial massage therapist. One of Paris’ biggest passions is helping others be present and grounded and allow their nervous systems to recalibrate to a more calm and balanced state.
Over almost two decades, Paris has worked in various multimodality clinics, and has been lucky enough to work alongside some of the most truly wonderful and skilled health practitioners in Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Paris has worked with people from various walks of life including children, adults, elderly, athletes, manual workers, office workers, and people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
Paris particularly enjoys working with women at all stages of life, including adolescence, adulthood, pregnancy, menopause and beyond. Paris has extensive experience and skills working with pre- and post-natal women.
Since graduating from RMIT University in 2018, Paris has undertaken various extra courses to further her skills and knowledge in myofascial release, cranial osteopathy, balanced ligamentous tension, pregnancy, scoliosis, desk ergonomics and more.
Paris is committed to providing a space where you can openly discuss your health concerns. She believes in the importance of truly listening to and collaborating with her patients to come up with a realistic and individualized health management plan. Paris loves witnessing the positive changes that osteopathy can contribute to and is dedicated to supporting you throughout your health and well-being journey.
In her spare time, you’ll catch Paris hanging with her golden retriever and two cats, doing pottery, knitting, watering her 52 indoor plants, or partaking in her newfound passion of lifting weights at the gym.
